How Paris Hilton feels about life as a mom? It's safe to say she loves it.
The Simple Life alum recently celebrated 6 months with her and husband Carter Reum's baby boy Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, and she took to social media to post a pink-tastic tribute to mark the occasion.
"This Barbie is a Mom," Paris captioned her July 16 Instagram post. "My baby boy Phoenix is 6 months old today. He is my world and makes my life feel so complete."
The 42-year-old's post featured her and Phoenix cuddled up together on a large, pink "House of Sliving" rug. The "Stars are Blind" artist rocked a pink velour track suit as she held her son close in the carousel of images, including a video where she holds Phoenix as he reaches out to play with some of his stuffed animals. If these snaps were out of this world adorable, Paris promises it's only the beginning.
"Can't wait for all the magical memories we will create together!" she concluded her post. "Mommy loves you so much angel baby."
Back in January, Paris and Carter surprised the world when they announced they had welcomed a baby boy via surrogate.
"It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," Paris said to People of her son's birth. "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."
But while Paris kept the news that she and Carter were expecting from even many of her loved ones, after welcoming Phoenix she shared insight into her road to motherhood. In fact, she revealed that she turned to longtime friend Kim Kardashian for advice on both in-vitro fertilization and surrogacy.
"I went and did the one round of IVF, because Kim had told me about it," Paris told British Vogue Feb. 23. "Carter and I had already been talking about the future and then the world was shut down, so I was like, ‘What do you think about us making embryos?' And he said, ‘Yeah, let's do it.'"
She also added at the time, "Kim told me about that surrogacy as well. I'm using the same doctor, Dr. Huang, who's the best and he has a concierge team that deals with everything and interviews the people to make sure that they're healthy."
And right from the start, Paris only had good things to say about life as a mom.
"He is such an angel," the reality star told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show March 13, less than two months after sharing the news of Phoenix's birth. "He is the best. He's the cutest, sweetest. I'm just so obsessed with him. My heart feels like it's going to explode. It's the best."
And for the cherry on top, it turns out Phoenix even has his musical priorities straight. "His favorite lullaby is my song ‘Stars Are Blind,'" she added, quipping, "He has good taste in music."
